That's why they pay Bill Simmons the really big bucks.

In a roundtable discussion on ESPN's NBA Countdown on Thursday night, Simmons had some choice words for the Indiana Pacers and the lack of heart he feels they've displayed during the 2014 NBA Playoffs.

Simmons boldly stated that if the Donald Sterling situation had happened to this Pacers team during the playoffs, the Pacers would have basically crawled "into a big pile" and given up.

He then proceeded to call the Pacers' playoff run "embarrassing," also quoting ESPN's Mike Tirico's assertion that the team's offensive troubles have been "historically horrific."

Keep in mind, the Pacers just need one win in their next two games to reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight season.

Stay classy, Bill.
