The 2020 NBA Draft is still a little ways off, but we have our first NBA Mock Draft with James Wiseman going to the Golden State Warriors with the number one draft pick. Cole Anthony of North Carolina has returned from injury, but will he still be a top-five pick one this year’s draft? LaMelo Ball has made a name for himself playing in New Zealand, and in this mock draft, Jimmy Crowther has him going to the New York Knicks' with the fifth overall pick. This 2020 NBA Draft Class is not as stacked as the 2019 Draft with names like Zion Williamson and Ja Morant, but many consider this to be a deeper draft with bigger names expected to still be around in the early 20’s through the second round.

Where will star point guard Nico Mannion of Arizona land in this mock draft? The top international prospect, Deni Avdija of Israel, is expected to be a top-five pick in this draft after his outstanding play in Euroleague. Theo Maledon of France had a huge game just the other day and his stock is rising as the weeks go on. Could he be the second international draft prospect to be selected? Duke players such as Vernon Carey Jr. and Cassius Stanley have been having solid seasons in College, but will their game translate to the NBA and earn them a top draft spot?

Anthony Edwards of Georgia has had an outstanding freshman season, and many consider him to be a potentially number one pick. Jimmy has him as the second overall pick in this mock draft. Tyrese Maxey of Kentucky is another amazing freshman in this draft class and could find himself as a lottery pick in this years NBA Draft. Scottie Lewis of Florida hasn’t had an outstanding season, but Jimmy likes him enough to give him a first-round grade. RJ Hampton decided not to go to college and went overseas to play. He had a decent season in Australia, but suffered an injury and decided to return back to the states to train for the NBA Draft. Will he still be a top 10 pick like he was projected to be?
