Julius Randle flashed amazing durability and all-world rebounding skills in his freshman year at Kentucky, leading the NCAA in games played (40) and total rebounds (416) in 2013-14. Randle is extremely strong from the waist up, and uses that strength coupled with his high motor to finish at the rim regardless of contact. While he’s not the most explosive on the board, he has great body awareness which gets him into optimum rebounding position more often than not. Randle shows tremendous balance, and uses that to his advantage in shaking defenders and burying mid-range jumpers.
