Patriot League Tournament top seed Colgate scored 19 of the game’s final 30 points to hold off the fifth-seeded Navy men’s basketball team, 80-70, Sunday afternoon at Cotterell Court in Hamilton, N.Y., in the semifinal round.
Colgate (23-10), winners of a school-record tying 10 straight games, will play host to second-seeded Bucknell Wednesday night in the championship game of the tournament. The second-seeded Bison defeated No. 3 Lehigh, 97-75 on Sunday.
The Mids (12-19), who were picked eighth in the league at the start of the year, had their season end in the semifinal round for the second time in three seasons.
