Tillman leads deep corps of Navy receivers

Jamir Tillman is poised to leave a lasting mark on the Navy football program. The senior wide receiver could become just the second player from the triple-option era to lead the Midshipmen in receptions for three straight seasons.

Tillman also has an opportunity to become the most prolific pass catcher of the triple-option era. Jason Tomlinson, who led Navy in receiving in 2005, 2006 and 2007, currently holds that distinction with 67 career catches.

Tillman is coming off a junior campaign in which he hauled in 29 passes for 597 yards and five touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 212-pounder has 51 career receptions for 995 yards.
