Anthony Alexander, Danny O'Neill and Samantha Glaeser are seeking to join the pantheon of four-time Brigade boxing champions.
It won't be easy.
Only 19 Navy boxers have ever been four-time Brigade champions.
O'Neill faces a rematch with an opponent he knows well, while Alexander and Glaeser will be severely tested by fighters with impressive resumes when the 75th annual Brigade Boxing Championships are held on Friday night.
Reuben Druckrey, the Brigade champ at 165 pounds last year, has moved up three weight classes to challenge Alexander. The New Orleans native was a National Collegiate Boxing Association runner-up a year ago and figures to give Alexander trouble.
