Following Navy's thorough victory over East Carolina, coach Ken Niumatalolo was asked whether he had a feeling this was a special team.
Niumatalolo did not want to make such declarations just two games into a long season, but it was apparent from his answer that he was leaning in that direction. Niumatalolo stated that this squad has two special captains in Keenan Reynolds and Bernie Sarra, special leadership within the senior class, special camaraderie and special chemistry.
"For now, I'll just keep to myself what I think about this team," he said.
It is becoming fairly obvious this Navy outfit has the potential to fashion a special season.
