Sophomore Julia Collins scored four goals to help the Navy women's lacrosse team get past Liberty, 21-7, Saturday afternoon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Collins also had an assist and 11 draw controls for Navy (4-1), which had nine players with at least one goal.
Collins' 11 draw controls are tied-for sixth best in program history. Senior Codi Mullen, junior Morgan Young and sophomore Jenna Collins each tallied natural hat tricks. Freshman Marie Valenti led with a team-high four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
"Give credit to Liberty, they came out today and really pushed us to the limit in the first half," Navy head coach Cindy Timchal said.
