The Capital Navy football beat reporter Bill Wagner and Cougar Sports Insider Jake Welch, a reporter covering BYU, recently spoke about what to expect from the two respective teams.
Welch: For Navy and their option offense, the quarterback does a lot of the heavy lifting. With the graduation of Malcom Perry, the reigns have been passed on to Dalen Morris. What kind of skill set does Morris bring to the offense?
Wagner: It is difficult to accurately describe Morris because we have never seen him play a meaningful down in a game. Morris was a dropback passer in high school and that is what he looks most comfortable doing.
