Reynolds named AAC Player of the Year

Navy's successful debut season in the American Athletic Conference was rewarded on Wednesday when the league announced its postseason honors.

Senior quarterback Keenan Reynolds was named the AAC Offensive Player of the Year while Ken Niumatalolo was selected as co-Coach of the Year.

Reynolds rushed for 1,093 yards and a league-leading 19 touchdowns while passing for 964 yards and six scores. He 36 passing yards in the regular season finale against Army to become the first quarterback in Navy history to surpass 1,000 yards rushing and passing in the same season twice in a career.
