Keenan Reynolds impressed the scouts with his performance during the weight room portion of Navy Pro Day. The All-American quarterback did not last long after the proceedings moved outside to Rip Miller Field.
Scouts from 18 different National Football League franchises showed up in Annapolis for the event, which gave eight Navy football players an opportunity to showcase their skills.
Reynolds, who finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting, was the most high-profile Midshipman to participate. Most NFL teams are looking at him as a running back or slot receiver.
Reynolds showed tremendous explosiveness and earned hoots and hollers from both scouts and teammates with a superb vertical leap of 37½ inches.
