Rees, Torain lead potentially potent offense for Navy men's lacrosse

Head coach Rick Sowell was very encouraged by something he saw during a recent Navy men’s lacrosse scrimmage.

Navy had committed a turnover and Richmond was heading the other way with the ball. Junior Greyson Torain, one of the fastest midfielders in college lacrosse, gave chase and quickly caught up to the player clearing the ball.

Right on the heels of Torain was senior Casey Rees, one year removed from undergoing surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament. That sight brought a broad smile to the face of Sowell, who needs no further proof that Rees has regained the outstanding form he showed as a sophomore.
