Sophomore Jenna Collins' four-goal, six draw control performance was not enough as the Navy women's lacrosse team fell to No. 14 Boston College, 17-9, Saturday afternoon at Newton Campus Lacrosse Field in Boston, Massachusetts. Boston College improved to 4-2 while Navy fell to 5-2 on the season.

"We will need to fix these early first-half mistakes (turnovers/bad shots) in order to be more competitive in our upcoming games," Navy head coach Cindy Timchal said. "We are going to use these next two weeks to try and fix these errors in preparation for our league slate."

Boston College scored the game's first goal as Caroline Margolis found an open Kate Rich, who scored her lone goal 2:45 into the contest.
