Eric Kettani was hoping to be in Foxboro this week, practicing with the New England Patriots.
Instead, Lieutenant Kettani was at the Naval Academy, working in the Public Affairs Office.
While disappointed that he's not playing professional football at the moment, Kettani is thrilled to be on the yard again.
"It's great to be back at the academy. I love this place," Kettani said while watching Navy football practice on Monday.
Kettani has been pursuing a career in the National Football League ever since he graduated from the Naval Academy in 2009. Originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2009, the powerful fullback has spent time with four different organizations without appearing in a regular season game.
