Navy football fans have contacted me in droves over the past week to ask if I thought Ken Niumatalolo would accept the head coaching position at Brigham Young University.
I honestly do not know the answer to that question, although some of what transpired following Saturday's game against Army lead me to believe Niumatalolo is leaning toward leaving.
Personally, I would be just as disappointed as every single Navy football supporter if Coach Niumat moves on. The good-natured native of Hawaii is a first-class person on every level, a true family man and a football coach who cares deeply about every individual in his operation.
