NAVY BASEBALL: Sophomore second baseman Zach Biggers was named a Second Team All-American and Second Team All-ECAC, while junior right-hander Noah Song was voted First Team All-ECAC.
The 2018 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, Biggers becomes just the 13th Midshipman in program history to garner All-American status. Selected by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper to the Louisville Slugger All-American team, Biggers has now been recognized nationally in each of his first two seasons in Annapolis as he was named a 2017 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American. A skilled talent on both offense and defense, Biggers appeared in 52 games as the Mids’ starting second baseman.
