Junior attacker Nora Giordano scored the game-winning goal with 3 ½ minutes remaining in the first overtime to lift Lehigh over Navy, 13-12, in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament on Monday afternoon in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Giordano took a feed from sophomore attacker Gabby Schneider, who had two goals and four assists, and finished for her seventh goal of the season.
Sondra Dickey, a graduate student who was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Year on Monday, scored five goals to lead Lehigh (8-3) into Thursday’s semifinals against Army at Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore. Sophomore attack Emma Eberhardt netted four goals for the Mountain Hawks, who also won the regular season matchup with the Midshipmen 12-7.
