Head coach Stefanie Pemper has displayed an uncanny ability to develop winning women’s basketball teams out of whatever personnel is available in a particular season.
Pemper, in her 11th season at the helm, seems well on the way to doing so again as a rather young, inexperienced group of Midshipmen are getting better with each passing game.
Since starting the season 1-3, Navy has won five of its last seven to move above .500. The Midshipmen are developing an identity after graduating their top two players (Taylor Dunham, Hannah Fenske) and losing a third starter (Kaila Clark) via transfer.
