When Morgan Taylor’s third-quarter basket brought Navy to within seven points of Lehigh on Sunday, it appeared the Mids had a chance to pull out a win over the Mountain Hawks and go two games over .500 after a 1-3 start.
The third quarter was just that — one quarter of a game.
The rest left a lot to make up for.
After a victorious start to Patriot League play on Thursday, the Mids fell to Lehigh, 56-38, at Alumni Hall.
The Mountain Hawks’ shot 35 percent while Navy shot 25 percent in falling to 6-6.
