Bucknell scored the last four points to come away with a 67-64 victory over the Navy women's basketball team Friday night at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, in the Patriot League opener for both the Bison (9-3 overall) and the Mids (7-5).
"A disappointing loss," said Navy head coach Stefanie Pemper. "I thought we came out well in the first quarter (the Mids led the entire frame until a three-point basket by Bucknell just before the buzzer gave the Bison a 17-16 lead). Just a terrific fourth quarter. We competed really well in the fourth quarter.
