Senior attacker Kaitlin Concilio's team-high three-point performance helped lead Holy Cross past the Navy women's lacrosse team, 7-6, on Saturday at Holy Cross Field.
Navy dropped to 0-2 in the Patriot League and 5-4 overall, while Holy Cross improved to 1-1 in league play and 1-9 overall.
"You have to give credit to Holy Cross for defending their home turf and winning the gritty plays like the ground ball category," Navy coach Cindy Timchal said. "We are going to re-evaluate our situation and get ready for a tough Lehigh squad on Wednesday."
Sophomore Jenna Collins scored her first goal of the contest in the first 1:07 to give Navy a 1-0 lead.
