Navy can clinch a berth in the American Athletic Conference championship game by winning at a facility in which it has enjoyed great success.
Navy (7-2, 5-1) will travel to Greenville on Saturday afternoon to take on East Carolina (3-7, 1-5) in the second-to-last conference contest of the season. A victory would secure the West Division crown for the Midshipmen, who lead Houston and Tulsa by one game in the loss column and own the head-to-head tiebreaker with both of those schools.
Navy is two games up on Southern Methodist University, which it plays on Nov.
