Head coach Stefanie Pemper said during preseason the Navy women's basketball team was extremely deep and there wasn't a whole lot of separation between the top 10 players on the roster.
Pemper liked the overall skill and athleticism of the Midshipmen and felt a roster heavily stocked with guards was best suited to playing at a fast pace.
If Monday night's outing was any indication, Pemper was accurate in both assessments. The ninth-year head coach substituted liberally throughout and all nine players that saw action contributed in some way as the Midshipmen completed a two-game homestand unbeaten.
