A win is a win, warts and all.

Navy offensive coordinator Ivin Jasper said on Saturday that he learned that approach from former colleague Buddy Green. The program’s long-time defensive coordinator, who retired following the 2015 season, told Jasper to never dwell on the negatives following a win.

Life is good in Annapolis today because Navy is off to a 2-0 start after blowing out Florida Atlantic (42-19) on the road in the season opener then slipping past Tulane (23-21) at home in the American Athletic Conference opener.
