It is looking more and more likely that Navy will wind up in the Military Bowl, being held Dec. 28 (1:30 p.m.) in Annapolis.
The Military Bowl, being held at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and televised nationally by ESPN, pits an American Athletic Conference school against an opponent from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Most of the national projections predict Navy to play either Duke, Florida State or Virginia in the Military Bowl, which is presented by Northrop Grumman.
This would mark the second time in three years the Midshipmen have appeared in the Military Bowl.
