NAVY KEY: HOPE FOR A FAVORABLE INJURY REPORT
The complexion of this contest will change dramatically if all of Houston's questionable players cannot go. By far the most important figures are starting quarterback Greg Ward Jr. and starting tailback Kenneth Farrow, who have combined for 1,759 rushing yards. Ward, a dynamic dual-threat QB, has rushed for 810 yards and 16 touchdowns while passing for 2,194 yards and 13 scores. He did not start last Saturday's game against Connecticut, but did enter for a few plays when backup Kyle Postma got injured. Both signal-callers are questionable, creating the possibility the Cougars might need to go with third stringer Hunter McCoy.
