Scott Strasemeier is best known as the longtime sports information director at the Naval Academy. However, after 28 years in that role, Strasemeier also holds the title of senior associate athletic director at Navy.
Strasemeier has served as athletic department representative for women’s lacrosse for several years. In that role, he has advised women’s lacrosse head coach Cindy Timchal on ways to improve Navy’s profile for the NCAA Tournament.
“I give a lot of credit to Scott, who encouraged me to schedule really tough competition to improve our strength of schedule, which in turn elevated our RPI,” Timchal said.
