Every coach appreciates a player who truly wants to improve and puts in the work necessary to do so.
Evan Wieck fits that description perfectly for the Navy men’s basketball program. The junior center is an earnest type of person who accepts coaching and puts in extra time on the court in an effort to better himself as a player.
“Evan is a guy who actually does what the coaching staff asks of him. When we tell Evan to work on something in practice, he goes out there and diligently does so,” Navy head coach Ed DeChellis said.
