The Naval Academy is never shy about assisting local football programs, especially in the Annapolis area.
The Peninsula Athletic League Hawks got a helping hand from members the Midshipmen at their seventh annual clinic on Wednesday at Lyons Field.
After a 45-minute session on Tuesday got cut short by Mother Nature, a contingent of 75 strong was ready to get some tips from 14 Navy football players. Those volunteering their time to work with the kids included offensive captain Toneo Gulley, defensive captain Daniel Gonzales. The group also inclued crowd favorites, starters and rising seniors Jamir Tillman and Shawn White, rising senior backup quarterback Will Worth, fellow rising seniors Cameron Bryant and Rob Dusz, rising juniors Justin Norton, Conrey Meagher and Robert Lindsey and rising sophomores Dre Williamson, Nick Czar, Artie Vasquez and Laurent Njiki.
