It would not be overstating things to call Wednesday night's game against Lehigh a must-win for the Navy women's lacrosse team.
The Midshipmen were seeking to avoid suffering a four-game losing streak and falling to 0-3 in the Patriot League for the first time in program history.
Sophomore attacker Julia Collins led the way with five goals as Navy broke out of an offensive slump to secure a crucial conference victory over second place Lehigh, 11-5. Freshman midfielder Meg O'Donnell totaled two goals and an assist for the Midshipmen, who outscored the visitors 5-1 in the second half.
