Navy women's basketball had a whole week to work on the issues that had led to losses in three of the last four games.
Not having to play a mid-week game as usual gave the Midshipmen an opportunity to sharpen an offense that ranked last in the Patriot League with a scoring average of 49.6 points and a field goal shooting percentage of .350.
Whatever was discussed and practiced during the week did not do much good as Navy responded by scoring just 14 points on 22.2 percent shooting in the first half of Saturday's home contest against Holy Cross.
