Holy Cross hands Navy 12-9 setback in men's lacrosse

Senior co-captain Ryan Wade paced the Navy men’s lacrosse team with four points to become the second Navy player this season to reach 100 career points, but it would not be enough as the Mids dropped a 12-9 decision to Holy Cross Saturday afternoon at Kuzniewski Field in Worcester, Mass.

Despite five ties in the game, Navy’s lone lead in the contest came when Wade found attackman Christian Daniel on the crease to beat the shot clock on the Mids’ first possession of the game to take a 1-0 lead. That assist by Wade not only extended his point-scoring streak to 33 consecutive games, it also marked his 100th collegiate point.
