Navy baseball used an eight-run 12th inning, fueled by three bases-loaded walks and a hit batter, to defeat Lafayette, 10-2 in Game 2 of the Patriot League Tournament semifinals.
Liam Lowery started the decisive frame with a double. Christian Policelli followed with a walk and Joe Simourian singled to load the bases. Ryan Duffey then delivered an RBI single to drive in Lowery.
No. 2 hitter Michael Coritz walked to plate Policelli and Zach Biggers was hit with a pitch to score Simourian. Christian Hodge and Matt Wilcox drew back-to-back walks to score Duffey and Coritz and suddenly it was 7-2.
