Two men with strong ties to Annapolis and Anne Arundel County were inducted into the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Friday night.
Renowned head coaches Dave Cottle and Dick Szlasa were formally enshrined during a dinner ceremony at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore. They were among seven members of the Class of 2017 along with Avery Blake (Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, Villanova); Tom Hayes (Drexel, Rutgers); Sid Jamieson (Bucknell); Jack Kaley (New York Institute of Technology) and Morris Touchstone (Army West Point, Yale).
