Sarita Condie and the rest of the Navy seniors were not about to lose another Star game to Army. The Black Knights had won four in a row and Condie, Justice Swett and Ashanti Kennedy did not want to become the second straight class to graduate without earning the coveted star that is awarded for winning the second of two regular season games against the archrival.
Condie scored 21 points on the strength of four 3-pointers to propel Navy to a 67-62 victory over Army before a sellout crowd at Alumni Hall. Junior guard Taylor Dunham took the ball strong to the basket all game in adding 17 points for the Midshipmen, who swept the season series with the Black Knights.
