NAVY WOMEN’S SOCCER: The Mids (4-3-3) received a game-tying goal by freshman Tori Mitchell in the 88th minute before Baseley McClaskey put home the game-winning goal 3:07 into the first overtime period in a 3-2 victory over host Howard in non-conference action on Tuesday night.
Navy will turn its attention back to Patriot League play on Friday night with a road contest at Loyola. Kickoff between the Mids and Greyhounds is set for 7:30 p.m. in Baltimore.
In Monday's weekly awards announcement by the Patriot League, Baseley McClaskey was selected as the conference's Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth straight week.
