NAVY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: LIU Brooklyn's Shanice Vaughan scored the go-ahead basket with 14 seconds left in overtime to help lead the Blackbirds to a 68-66 victory over Navy on Wednesday at Alumni Hall. It was the fourth straight overtime game for the Mids.
Justice Swett scored the first two baskets of overtime to give Navy a 64-60 lead, but the Blackbirds rallied to improve to 2-3. Shanovia Dove led LIU Brooklyn with 27 points and nine rebounds, while paris Jones added 15 points and vaughan 11.
Sarah Reilly led Navy with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Swett added 10 points and seven rebounds.
