College Roundup: Navy, Loyola set for women's lacrosse showdown

NAVY WOMEN'S LACROSSE: For the second year in a row, second-seeded Navy (13-5, 7-2 Patriot League) and top-seed Loyola (13-5, 9-0 PL) will clash for the Patriot League Tournament crown on Sunday at Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore. Opening draw is set for noon and will be streamed live for free on PatriotLeague.TV.

Since Loyola entered the Patriot League in 2014, the Greyhounds have bested Navy in all four previous meetings, outscoring the Mids, 47-21. Loyola edge Navy in last season's championship game, 14-9.

TOWSON MEN'S LACROSSE: Freshman midfielder Jon Mazza (Davidsonville, The Calverton School) assisted Spencer Parks on the go-ahead goal at 1:40 in the third period as the top-seeded Tigers repeated as Colonial Athletic Association champions with a 4-2 victory over second-seeded Fairfield University on Saturday at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
