NAVY WOMEN'S GOLF: Recent Naval Academy graduate Renata Bucher has been named to the 2016 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholar list. Bucher has been named to the WGCA All-America Scholar list for the fourth straight season.
Bucher is one of 828 women's collegiate golfers to be recognized with this honor. The minimum cumulative grade-point average needed to be eligible for the All-American Scholar Team is 3.50.
Bucher graduated in May with a 3.84 cumulative GPA as an ocean engineering major. She was named to the Naval Academy's Superintendent's List and Commandant's List in each of her eight semesters at the Academy.
