NAVY BASEBALL: Junior second baseman Zach Biggers and senior pitcher Noah Song were named to the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper’s Preseason All-American squads. Biggers was selected to the second team, while Song earned third-team honors.
The duo is the first preseason All-Americans since Luke Gillingham was a second-team selection in 2016 by Louisville Slugger. Biggers and Song become the fifth and sixth preseason All-Americans in program history following Gillingham in 2016, Mitch Harris in 2007 and Steve Mauro and Toby Moore in 1995.
Biggers was a Louisville Slugger Second Team All-American following the 2018 season. He also was a Second Team honoree on the ABCA All-East Region and All-ECAC teams.
