NAVY BASEBALL: The Mids earned their third trip in four years to the Patriot League finals with a 4-1 victory over Holy Cross on Sunday. The Mids (38-14) took a 3-0 lead through three innings and rode the arm of Andrew Sauer to the victory. Sauer scattered five hits and needed just 104 pitches to record all 27 outs. He fanned nine and did not walk a batter. Jacob Williams got the big hit, a two-run single in the third.
NAVY TRACK & FIELD: For the first time in 45 years, the Navy men's track and field team won the IC4A Championship.
