NAVY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Patriot League announced on Monday that freshman Bianca Roach has been selected as this week's league rookie (freshman) of the week for her sport.
Roach garnered the accolade for her performance during Navy's 64-46 victory over Air Force on Dec. 21. She scored 10 points against the Falcons on 4-6 shooting from the floor to go along with a 2-4 effort from the foul line. The 10 points marked the second time in which she reached double figures in a game this year and left her two points shy of tying her season high which came in a double overtime contest against Elon.
