Navy offensive coordinator Ivin Jasper had a hard time talking to Tago Smith when the two saw each other at halftime of Saturday's season opener.
Smith suffered what appears to be a severe knee injury early in the second quarter and Jasper was extremely upset by the turn of events. Jasper personally coaches the Navy quarterbacks and had spent four years preparing Smith to become the starter.
Seeing Smith go down during the first half of the first game was almost too much for Jasper to take.
"I was afraid to look at him. I couldn't make eye contact.
