Gil Bellistri, an iconic figure in the Anne Arundel County lacrosse community, taught his son the finer points of the game.
Jeff Bellistri became an All-County performer at Severna Park High and enjoyed a terrific career at the Naval Academy. Along the way, the younger Bellistri was instilled with the same passion for the stick sport that led his father to dedicate countless volunteer hours to coaching and organizing.
After serving in the Navy as a helicopter pilot, Jeff Bellistri made the transition into civilian life as a teacher and coach at the Bullis School and passed along the love of lacrosse to his two sons.
