The season didn't end the way Broadneck quarterback Emmett Davis envisioned when he was named the Bruins starter before the season.
While Davis and the Bruins did have a solid season, their goal of advancing to the state final came up one win short following Friday's loss to unbeaten Howard in the Class 4A state semifinal.
With one announcement on Monday, though, Davis has set himself up for the future.
Davis, who led Broadneck to a 10-3 record and a berth in the Class 4A state semifinal, announced on Monday via his Twitter account that he has committed to the Naval Academy to play football.
