Pete Medhurst sometimes jokes that he and Joe Miller were the most famous graduates of Southern High until the Brothers Osborne came along.
Medhurst was kidding of course, but there is a similarity. He and Miller are on the radio together all the time, although they probably don’t get nearly as much air play as the country music duo from Deale.
Medhurst, a 1987 graduate of Southern High, has been the play-by-play voice of Navy football since 2013. The Churchton resident will now be joined in the booth by Miller, who last week was named color commentator for Navy football.
