Every week, Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo must come to a post-game press conference and answer all sorts of questions related to his job performance.
This past Saturday, the veteran head coach was asked immediately why he elected to start Garret Lewis at quarterback and Malcolm Perry at slotback. He also had to address the decision to go for it on fourth-and-eight at the Temple 38-yard line instead of punting.
Same goes for the football players involved in the contest. Following Saturday’s heartbreaking 24-17 loss to Temple, Lewis had to talk about missing some checks at the line of scrimmage and throwing several incomplete passes.
