Tim Flynn built the Edinboro University wrestling program into a national powerhouse despite financial limitations. The Annapolis High graduate compiled a phenomenal 223-95-5 career record in 21 years as head coach of the school located in the Pennsylvania town of the same name.

Along the way, Flynn developed 150 national qualifiers, three national champions, 38 All-Americans, 64 Eastern Wrestling League champs and 97 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champs.

Edinboro competes at the Division II level in all sports except wrestling, which is a Division I program without the same level of funding. Flynn led the Fighting Scots to third place finish at the NCAA Championships while fielding a team with five full scholarships to divvy up.
