As expected, the American Athletic Conference has rescheduled the two Navy football home games that were postponed due to coronavirus issues within the program.
Navy had built two bye weekends into the schedule in order to have plenty of time to prepare for archrival Army. Now the Midshipmen will have less than a week to get ready for the service academy showdown, being held Dec. 12 at Michie Stadium on the West Point campus.
The Capital reported earlier this week the American office was crafting that exact plan, which required moving other conference contests to different dates.
