Nashville Signs Rocco Grimaldi to 2-Year Extension

The Nashville Predators announced on Monday that forward Rocco Grimaldi has been signed to a two-year, $4 million contract.

It’s no secret that Grimaldi is one of Nashville’s most dynamic forwards in an up-and-down season where no forward has really established themselves as “top dog.” While playing third-line minutes, Grimaldi has exceeded his previous career points total with 30 points in 58 games (10 goals, 20 assists).

Grimaldi and the Predators required arbitration over the summer to agree to a new contract for 2019-2020 ($1 million). The speedy forward is only 5’6”, but he looks right at home in Predators gold.
